Summary

On August 21, 2007, Inspector General Scovel was the keynote speaker at the Illinois Department of Transportation's annual "Ethics in the Workplace" seminar held in Chicago, Illinois. The Inspector General addressed the following four issues: (1) maintaining integrity in transportation programs; (2) underlying ethics and principles at the Federal level; (3) illustrating ethical choices-both right and wrong, and (4) fostering high ethical standards.
