Summary

Federal authorities arrested or are seeking the arrests of 127 current or former employees at John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport in New York City in an airport security sweep. Indictments ranged from using false social security numbers and providing false information on their immigration status to failing to disclose criminal histories on their applications for airport security badges. The defendants held a variety of jobs, including passenger service agent, ramp and cargo agents, janitorial workers, and utility and maintenance workers.
