Summary

On September 27, 2010 Keysha Logan, a management assistant within the Finance Services Comptroller Group, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Washington, DC, pled guilty in United States District Court in Greenbelt, Maryland, to embezzlement.

Ms. Logan admitted that from 2007 to 2010, she used her government-issued credit card to buy gift cards from retailers, kept the gift cards for her personal use and then approved government funds to pay for the purchases of the gift cards.  Ms. Logan used the gift cards for her personal benefit and used the FAA computer system to approve the government's payment for the charge.  The loss resulting from the embezzlement scheme is $123,774.47.  The FAA initiated administrative proceedings against Ms. Logan.  In addition, she is scheduled to be sentenced on January 3, 2011.
