Missouri Man Pleads Guilty to Operating an Aircraft Without An Airman's Certificate

Summary

On March 30, 2012, Roger Seratt pled guilty in the Eastern District of Missouri, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to one count of false statements and two counts of operating an aircraft without an airman's certificate. 

Our investigation determined that Mr. Seratt made false statements on applications to the Federal Aviation Administration for the purpose of obtaining an airman's medical certificate.  Additionally, on two occasions, Mr. Seratt was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol for not possessing an airman's certificate.  

This case was conducted jointly with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
