Submitting FOIA Requests and Appeals Electronically
You may send a FOIA request electronically via email. The message should include all the information specified in the FOIA Reference Guide as well as a valid return email address and physical mail address. Email the request here.

You may submit an appeal of an initial determination via email. Your appeal may be submitted here. Your appeal must meet the Department’s requirements for submitting an appeal which is located in the Department’s FOIA Reference Guide and found in the link above.
