Summary

On November 14, 2011, we issued an audit report on our quality control review of the audit of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) financial statements for fiscal years 2011 and 2010. Clifton Gunderson, LLP, under contract to the OIG, issued a clean (unqualified) audit opinion on FAA’s financial statements. Clifton Gunderson, LLP’s report did not include any reportable internal control deficiencies or instances of reportable noncompliance with laws and regulations tested.

Complete financial statements are included in FAA’s Performance and Accountability Report, which also contains a copy of the Clifton Gunderson, LLP report beginning on page 89.
