Applying for a FAA Research Grant and Cooperative Agreement

Submitting a proposal is the starting point for formally requesting grant assistance. The proposal must present the objectives of the work proposed, the qualifications of the principal investigator and/or the grantee organization, the expected result of the research, and the amount of funding required.

The current Grants for Aviation Research program solicitation package provides information on how to prepare and submit your proposal. It includes details on what types of proposals will be accepted for consideration, the proper format for the proposal, when the proposal should be submitted, and the criteria and procedures for reviewing proposals and all required forms.

The FAA solicitation number FAA-06-01 can be found at: Solicitation FAA-06-01 . Please use the bullet at the bottom of the website, entitled GRANTS.GOV to submit all proposals electronically.

Contact the FAA Grants Program for further information @ 609-485-4781 or email to Nicole Feriozzi
