Meeting Notice:  PHMSA will hold Meetings of the Liquid and Gas Pipeline Safety Advisory Committees

On November 27, 2012, in the Federal Register, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced meetings of the Liquid Pipeline Advisory Committee and the Gas Liquid Advisory Committee, also known as the Technical Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Safety Standards Committee and the Technical Pipeline Safety Standards Committee. 

The meetings will be held on December 11, 12 and 13 at the Westin Alexandria, 400 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, VA  22314, Phone: 703-253-8600.

The meeting schedule follows:

Tuesday, December 11 - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Liquid Pipeline Advisory Committee Meeting.

Wednesday, December 12   - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Joint Committee Meeting (Liquid and Gas)

The Committees will be considering the following proposed rules: 

• Pipeline Safety: Pipeline Damage Prevention Programs; Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) (77 FR 19800), published on 4-2-2012.
• Pipeline Safety: Administrative Procedures; Updates and Technical Corrections; Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) (77 FR 48112), published on 8-12-2012.
