INSPECTION ID

[ Max Field Length 8 ] This is a unique identifying number assigned to an inspection record.
USDOT NUMBER
(DOT_NUMBER)
[ Max Field Length 8 ] This is the USDOT number assigned by MCMIS to a census record. Each motor carrier should have only one active census number. The census number has no internal coded structure. Numbers are issued sequentially as entities are added to the system.
REPORT STATE
(REPORT_STATE)
[ Max Field Length 2 ] State/District/Province which uploads the inspection, usually where inspection was conducted. (See Appendix A [Opens in New Window] )
REPORT NUMBER
(REPORT_ NUMBER)
[ Max Field Length 10 ] A number identifying the inspection report. Format SS########, where SS is the state abbreviation, or US for Federal inspections, followed by 8 alphanumeric.

[ Max Field Length 8 ] Date the inspection was conducted. (YYYYMMDD)
START TIME
(INSP_START_TIME)
[ Max Field Length 4 ] Time the inspection started. Format: HHMM (military time) where HH is the hour and MM is the minutes. Midnight is recorded as 2400. 9999 = Time unknown
END TIME
(INSP_END_TIME)
[ Max Field Length 4 ] Time the inspection ended. Format: HHMM (military time) where HH is the hour and MM is the minutes. Midnight is recorded as 2400. 9999 = Time unknown
REGISTRATION DATE

[ Max Field Length 8 ] Indicates the date the certification of correction of defects was registered.

[ Max Field Length 1 ] Indicates if hazardous material placards are required. This field is required if a hazardous materials code is entered. (Y = Yes, N = No, Null = Unknown)

SAFETYNET VERSION NUMBER

[ Max field length 1 ] Indicates whether an alcohol or controlled substance check was performed. (Y = Yes, N = No, Null = Unknown)
DRUG INTERDICTION SEARCH
