International Maritime Organization Dangerous Goods, Solid Cargoes and Containers (DSC) Sub-Committee

Purpose: In cooperation with the United States Coast Guard, PHMSA will represent the Department at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Dangerous Goods, Solid Cargoes and Containers Sub-Committee (DSC Sub-Committee). The IMO DSC Sub-Committee convenes once a year and is responsible for considering proposals for incorporation the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code.
