DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER VISITORS' CENTER NEW HOURS STARTING AUGUST 29, 2016 and REMINDER OF SEASON CLOSING ON LABOR DAY

The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation public access to its Visitors' Center at the U.S. Eisenhower Lock for the 2016 navigation season ends at 6:00 pm on Labor Day, September 5. From Monday, August 29 through September 5, the Center will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and is free to the public. Gift shop hours will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The Seaway Visitors' Center at the Eisenhower Lock provides tourists and ship watchers with an observation deck where they can view commercial vessels and cruise ships from around the world as they transit the lock. Guides are available to provide additional information to tourists. Hundreds of ships from all over the world make thousands of transits through the St. Lawrence Seaway annually. They carry a wide variety of cargoes including grains, iron ore, coal, steel, stone, steel slabs, and project cargoes.
