MARITECH

MARITECH was a technology development program to improve ship design and construction processes in U.S. shipyards. It was part of a Presidential initiative to maintain a shipbuilding industrial base for national security by assisting in establishing the U.S. shipbuilding industry as a self-sufficient, internationally competitive industry.

The following MARITECH Projects were administered by the Maritime Administration, Office of Shipyard Revitalization, resulting from MARITECH Broad Agency Announcements. Projects are grouped into four subject areas.
