About the Outreach and Training Program

The Outreach and Training Branch is responsible for enhancing regulatory compliance through development and dissemination of written materials that enable the public to more easily understand and comply with the Hazardous Materials Regulation (HMR), and producing training materials designed to help the regulated community meet HMR training requirements. The Branch also develops and publishes the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) and other emergency preparedness and response instructional materials.
