Our Services:

• Develop internal policy and procedures
• Provide technical assistance to Departmental managers, supervisors and employees regarding internal civil rights or EEO policy, procedures and program requirements
• Develop the Departmental affirmative employment programs and plans
• Administer the Department's EEO/EO ADR Program and provides technical assistance to DOT's civil rights staff in ADR techniques
• Trains EEO Counselors
• Manages the Department's Special Emphasis Programs
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines for internal EEO civil rights programs affecting DOT employees or applicants for employment under the following:
  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended
  • Sections 501 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended
  • Equal Pay Act of 1963
  • Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
  • Equal Employment Opportunity in the Federal Government Regulation, 29 CFR 1614
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Act of 1998, as amended
