Letter to Chairman Chaffetz and Ranking Member Cummings on IG Access to Information

In response to a request from the Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, we described instances in the last 2 years where the Department of Transportation (DOT) initially denied or delayed our office access to agency documents, information, or employees. When we encounter delays and lack of timeliness in obtaining Agency documents, we work with Department officials at the proper level to resolve them.
