The project is to construct 1.32 miles of new Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail from Lindsey Creek to Starvation Creek Trailhead, approximately 7 miles west of Hood River, Oregon. The new portion of the State Trail will provide as a connector for future phases of the trail system extending to the west. The work on this portion consists of constructing a trail and 50-foot span bridge for walking, biking, and outdoor enthusiasts, meandering along sections of the Historic Columbia River State Highway through forests and by Hole in the Wall Falls, and crossing Warren and Wonder Creeks.
