Summary

On February 25, Keysha Logan, a former management assistant within the Finance Services Comptroller Group at FAA in Washington, D.C., was sentenced to four months imprisonment and four months home detention for embezzling $123,774 from FAA.  Ms. Logan was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and ordered to repay the entire amount that she embezzled from the FAA.  Ms. Logan's employment with the FAA was terminated in October 2010.

According to her guilty plea, Ms. Logan admitted that from 2007 to 2010, she used her government-issued credit card to purchase gift cards from Office Depot and other retailers. Ms. Logan kept the gift cards for her personal use and then used the FAA computer system to approve the government's payment for the charges.
