Summary

This audit will determine whether: (1) DOT's Energy Management and Conservation Program complies with applicable laws and regulations; (2) the energy reports DOT submits to the Department of Energy are reliable and reasonably accurate; and (3) DOT is exploring new ways to reduce energy consumption and is taking advantage of opportunities to further reduce its energy consumption and costs.
