National Bridge Inventory (NBI) Data Submittals
Federal agencies are asked to submit their NBI highway bridge data to the Federal Lands Office of Bridges and Structures (FLH Bridge) by April 1 of each year. We will review the data file for format and consistency before forwarding to the FHWA Office of Bridges and Structures (OBS) to be processed into the national NBI database.
The data should be formatted as specified in the OBS Memorandum linked below. As stated in the Memorandum, all data should be checked for errors prior to submittal. Please send the NBI data file via email to Yohannes Mesfin. If you have any questions related to this matter, please contact Yohannes Mesfin.
Please remember that a submittal is necessary even if no data has changed.
