The ITS Professional Capacity Building Program (ITS PCB) is pleased to offer FREE ITS standards training. The 48-module series is for practitioners in state and local highway agencies and transit agencies who seek the skills needed to procure, implement, and operate standards-based systems. In addition to the 48-module series, the ITS PCB Program has developed an 11-module training series that focuses exclusively on standards used in transit applications. These modules give transit professionals the skills to help them effectively utilize transit-applicable ITS standards to procure, install, test, and operate ITS technologies.

13 New Standards Training Modules

The ITS PCB Program has developed 13 new modules that expand on ITS topics discussed in the first 35 modules. Topics include Connected Vehicles (Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure), Advanced Transportation Controllers, Ramp Meter Control (RMC), Transportation Sensor Systems (TSS), and test procedures for RMC and TSS systems.
