ITS Specialists

These technical assistance and learning resources are available from the U.S. DOT:

• The FHWA Resource Center Operations Team offers agencies with technical support in Operations and ITS information and technology.
• The ITS Architecture Implementation Program provides ITS practitioners with the guidance and resources necessary for implementing the Final Rule on Architecture and Standards Conformity issued on January 8, 2001.
• The goal of the Facilitating Integrated ITS Deployment Program, and its Operations Deployment Team, is to ensure effective and successful implementation and use of ITS. The following cross-cutting program areas provide links to information and resources to assist in implementing ITS projects.
