The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Headquarters, located in the Southeast Federal Center, is housed in two connected buildings – the East Building and the West Building. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (OST-R) is located on the 3rd floor in the East Building. The physical address is:

Metrorail

Due to the limited amount of parking around DOT Headquarters, use of public transit is strongly advised. DOT is served by the Navy Yard Metrorail Station (Green line) - Navy Yard exit. The station is located across the street from the West Building. Trains and bus schedules are available at www.wmata.com.

Parking

During the Washington Nationals home baseball games, nearlly all parking lots are reserved for season ticket holders. Therefore, parkers are usually required to vacate the parking lots two hours before the start of any game (afternoon and night).
