Registration & Ticket Purchase: DOT/PHMSA 811 Day Awareness at the Washington Nationals Ballpark
811 Nationals

What: Join DOT/PHMSA for the 2016 811 Game Day at the Washington Nationals Ballpark to help raise nationwide awareness of the "Know What's Below. Call 811 Before You Dig" safety campaign. This year, a variety of seating options are available: Upper Gallery @$12/seat, Scoreboard Pavilion @$14/seat, and Baseline Reserved @ $40/seat.

Why: Raising awareness of calling 811 before digging projects will reduce pipeline incidents. Damages to pipelines during digging projects are a leading cause of pipeline accidents that hurt or kill people.

811

When: August 10, 2016. Game starts at 4:05 pm (Washington Nationals versus the Cleveland Indians). Employees should plan to take leave, based on their normal work schedule.

Where: Washington Nationals Ballpark, Washington, DC

DOT/PHMSA is also working together with stakeholders across the country to promote public awareness of the need to Call 811 before digging and will raise awareness of this important safety message at the Washington Nationals Ballpark. Please stop by the PHMSA booth to learn more about the Call 811 safety message and National 811 Day. If you have any questions, please contact Karen Lynch by email at karen.lynch@dot.gov or by phone at 202-366-6855.
