PHMSA provides access to retrieve data from the Incident Reports Database. There are also a series of reports produced which provide statistical information on incidents by type, year, geographical location, and others.

Incident data and summary statistics for previous years are provided as appropriate. The data provided is that from the Hazardous Materials Incident Report Form 5800.1

Incident data and summary statistics for previous years are provided in a new easy to navigate format. Data is updated nightly and can be downloaded into Excel or PowerPoint. Also, some reports have interactive graphs which can be changed based on pre-selected prompts.

NEW Enhancement - Users of PHMSA's Hazardous Materials Incident Statistic Reports now have the ability to "drill down" to view specific computer generated incident reports representative of the DOT F5800.1 form.
