You can look up a motor carrier by name, DOT number or MC number in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER) System: http://www.safersys.org/

Click on "Company Snapshot" and enter the company name/DOT/MC Number.
