As noted above, a minimum of 48 hours for requesting an appointment is strongly preferred. This is to allow sufficient time to a) have requested materials delivered to the Information Center from an offsite storage facility that houses the majority of our archived materials; b) reserve a conference room in the AASHTO office for the visitor to use for research work (necessary due to the limited space in the Information Center itself); and c) ensure that the sole staff member is available that day.
