Transportation Information

  • NTL Integrated Search
    Includes NTL Digital Repository - primarily technical, research, and policy full-text documents provided by federal, state, local, tribal, and other government agencies
  • NTL Headquarters Online Catalog
    The Online Catalog contains over 80,000 bibliographic records, with more being added each day. You can search or browse the catalog by title, author, subject, or a number of other different access points. The public has access to all library materials, including reference sources, to be used in the library only. Borrowing privileges can be arranged for members of the general public via inter-library loan.
  • NTL's Online Digital Special Collections
    Our Online Digital Special Collections consist of important, historical collections of documents which the Library has digitized in order to broaden access.
  • FHWA Research Library Catalog
    A work in progress, the online catalog contains approximately 15,000 bibliographic records for materials in the physical library collection. Materials from a 35,000 item backlog are added daily. Circulating materials can be borrowed through interlibrary loan.
  • TRB Research in Progress
    Current or recently completed research projects funded by Federal and State Departments of Transportation.
    University transportation research is also included.

    Find more information about the TRT including scope, structure, management, and history. Also, the abitlity to search, download, or suggest a new term.
  • Transportation Knowledge Networks
    Throughout the country, regional transportation knowledge networks (TKNs) are established or being developed to help facilitate access to information in support of transportation development.
  • Transportation Librarians Roundtable
    The Transportation Librarians Roundtable (TLR) is a monthly web conference series. The TLR's purpose is to provide transportation librarians with opportunities to learn more about issues of mutual concern and interest and also to have a new means of regular communication among members of that community.
  • Directory of Transportation Libraries and Information Centers
    Adress and contact informatin for transportation libraries in the United States and Canada. The directory does include some international transportation libraries.
