Special Needs Program Management Information System

SNPMIS documents and reports on services provided to TRICARE patients with special needs. It manages data regarding the early intervention services provided to eligible infants and toddlers, and the related services provided to school-aged children enrolled in the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS).

Product Features

  • Support clinical data management and managed care health care processes through the provision of the following capabilities:
    • Collect and store eligibility, referral, evaluation and service plan data for children eligible for services from the Military Medical Departments’ Educational and Developmental Intervention Services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
    • Collect family demographics, referrals, eligibility and service plans data
    • Collect and store provider service provision data
    • Manage data regarding the early intervention services provided to eligible infants and toddlers
    • Manage data regarding the related services provided to school-aged children enrolled in the DoDDS Special Education Program
    • Provide comprehensive standard reports
    • Provide ad hoc reporting capability
