The Pandemic and Natural Disaster Preparedness and Response Exercise in Maputo July 28, 2014 – Aug. 1, 2014 included Mozambique government officials attending a mock press conference taking questions from the media. The event represented a successful collaboration among international and interagency organizations, with the Government of Mozambique hosting an event sponsored by U.S. Africa Command and executed by the Center for Disaster and Humanitarian Assistance Medicine.
