Patient Relations
Patient Relations Service (PRS) provides liaison between beneficiaries and/or their family members and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) staff to facilitate optimal quality healthcare; promotes respect and support the Rights and Responsibilities of the patient. Educate and advise patients on the proper hospital policies and procedures.
Patient concerns should first be attempted to be resolved at the lowest possible level. WRNMMC Customer Service Advocates (CSA) act to correct customer service issues on behalf of patients and visitors who are visiting their respective clinic/ward/service. Please feel free to ask to speak to the service customer service advocate.
For concerns which were unable to be resolved by the department/service CSA or requiring further follow up, patients, family members, or visitors should seek the assistance of Patient Advocates in the Patient Relations Service.
If it is after duty hours, weekends, or holidays the Command Duty Office (CDO) on the first floor of Building 10 will assist patients and visitors on behalf of Patient Relations. Issues not resolved will be referred to the PRS the next duty day.
