The Training and Certification Division started on November 2014. The division is responsible for providing community-wide integration of training, leadership development, and individual training and initiatives. In addition, the division provides administration and oversight for the NAVINSGEN training program, including coordination of all aspects of the NAVINSGEN School and Mobile Training Team, the DoD Inspector General, Marine Corps IG, Division Directors, Special Assistants to the NAVINSGEN, Echelon II Commands, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and other agencies. The division maintains and provides oversight for IG certification criteria and provides systematic management, oversight, coordination and integration of training requirements across the NAVINSGEN HQ and IG community in the development of strategic programs and plans.
