JTF CapMed Commander's Message
National Capital Region Medical is the premier health care system serving the unique needs of our Wounded, Ill and Injured, Active Duty, retired Service members and their families. It is the Military’s first Integrated Health Care Delivery System serving all of the patients in the NCR. It provides the world’s best care and rehabilitation for our nation’s most severely injured Warriors. Our number one priority is care for our Wounded Warriors and their family members.
With new and enhanced infrastructure, new technologies, best clinical and business practices, we will meet the congressional mandate
for world-class care. Walter Reed National Military
Medical Center has a proud tradition based on those of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.
