Welcome to the Civilian Human Resources Center home on the web!
The Civilian Human Resources Center, or CHRC, provides exclusive service to Department of Defense civilians who deliver and support medical care in the National Capital Region.
With an on-site presence at both the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, the CHRC staff is available for daily assistance and advice for all your civilian human resources needs, including: filling jobs, pay, labor and employee relations, human resources related training, performance management, workers' compensation, strategic workforce planning, retirement and benefits counseling.
The CHRC has a staff of HR Specialists located at our office in Rock Island, IL. These specialists work in conjunction with the on-site staff to deliver advice, guidance and full, end to end recruitment for our customers. They also conduct specialized recruitment for specific direct-hire medical occupations using a unique database. These efforts help to support our mission and bring world-class treatment to our military and their families.
This website houses information to assist our customers with their human resources related needs.
It is continuously updated to provide the most current information.
