National Capital Region Pain Initiative (NCRPI) The National Capital Region Pain Initiative (NCRPI) improves access to care for Tricare beneficiaries with pain, TBI, and PTSD across the National Capital Region. The initiative improves access to integrative and alternative pain modalities and establishes a Palliative Care program. A key component is education; including staff, providers, patients, and families. These enhancements to our existing pain programs ensure a coordinated effort across the National Capital Region (NCR).
