Mission

The Command Chaplain reports directly to the Commander, US Africa Command, for three, major purposes: Providing advice and awareness for the Commander and staff on matters related to religion, ethics and morale; Coordinating sustained chaplain engagements in support of a stable and secure African environment; Ensuring spiritual care is provided for AFRICOM personnel, families, and operations

Vision

To increase spiritual strength, thereby enhancing the stability and security on the continent of Africa and its island nations by fostering trusted relationships with African military chaplains, religious leaders, our U.S. Government teammates, our allies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations
