  Welcome! You are about to join about 1,500 active-duty and 1,700 civilian workers who make up the Columbus Air Force Base team. Our check-in process is designed for efficiency and convenience and to ensure your introduction to the base provides you with everything you need to know.

  Getting settled and getting around — two things any newcomer is eager to do! It’s easy at Columbus, and there are plenty of people to ensure you’re well taken care of.

  Columbus Air Force Base has a full-time school liaison office (SLO) to provide K-12 education information to all personnel assigned to the installation.
