Naval Station Everett is the Navy’s newest and most modern facility. History

Naval Station Everett’s history began in 1983 when the secretary of the Navy first proposed a new Puget Sound area naval base as part of the Strategic Homeport concept. On April 17, 1984, Everett was selected from among 13 ports as the ideal location for the new homeport. Congress approved

Station Support Organizations

The mission of Naval Station Everett is to provide services in support of operational forces assigned to the station. These forces are for the most part ships and their associated organizations. Support to these forces and their personnel is accomplished by naval station departments and by tenant organizations headquartered elsewhere
