  YOUR SPONSOR Sponsors are appointed to help all personnel assigned to the Academy. They are prepared to help you with any questions or problems before your arrival and while getting settled.   The Association of Graduates is the alumni association of the U.S. Air Force Academy. It is a nonprofit organization devoted to serving its members, improving the Academy by enriching the cadet experience and funding programs not supported by appropriated funds.

  There are over 23 miles of multiuse, unpaved trails on the Air Force Academy plus 6 miles of similar trail at Farish Recreation Area for hiking, biking and equestrian use.   MILITARY BASES The Academy is one of four military bases throughout Colorado Springs. To the southeast of the city is Schriever Air Force Base, to the east (next to the city airport) is Peterson Air Force Base, and to the south is the Army’s Fort Carson. Some Academy employees
