RAF MOLESWORTH, United Kingdom -- Intelligence Specialist 3rd Class (IDW) Jonna Marin, maritime analyst at U.S. Euroepan Command’s Joint Intelligence Operations Center Europe in the U.K., was recently named EUCOM junior-enlisted servic e member of the year. Marin said reaching this accomplishment was due in large part to her leadership’s pushing her to excel.

The U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) Director of Intelligence presented the first group of Navy Officers from USEUCOM directorates and components with the new Information Dominance Warfare insignia at USEUCOM Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, Dec. 16.

Special Forces units are often charged with going into unfamiliar, remote and potentially dangerous areas to gather intelligence and conduct operations independent of external support.
