Before being selected in his current position, Mr. Posthumus was the Deputy Commander for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Twin Cities located in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Mr. Posthumus began his federal career as an intern with the United States Air Force in 1988 working as an engineer. He transferred to DCMA in 1991 and has held many functional and supervisor positions in a variety of locations before assumming the Deputy Commander position at DCMA Pacific located at NAF Atsugi in 2007 and then with DCMA Twin Cities in 2012.

He received two bachelor degrees from the University of Colorado in Electrical Computer Engineering and Finance. He also earned his masters degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. He is DAWIA level III certified in Program Management and also in Systems, Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering.
