Training and Readiness (N7) executes responsibilities for training programs, exercise programs and readiness reporting in order to align training and readiness programs with the war-fighting Enterprises and Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (CFFC) policies. This program supports the Fleet Forces Command requirement (Instruction 3000.15) and enables Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) to establish a Shore Response Plan aligned to the Fleet Response Plan, provides resources to implement manning, infrastructure and capabilities including oversight of Navy Warfare Training System (NWTS), Navy Mission Essential Task (NMET) development, assessment, reporting and certification of Regions.
