On 11 Sep 15 the Soldier Support Institute’s Finance School, located at Ft Jackson, S.C., received its 3rd iteration of Instructor and Key Personnel Training (IKPT). A total of 37 students representing Funds Management training development, ARCENT, and the in session Captain’s Career Course that included 5 international officers were trained in a variety of finance topics.

The mission of the Soldier Support institute is to train and educate Soldiers and Civilians in Financial Management, Human Resources Support, Music Support, and Postal Operations; develop complementary concepts, doctrine, organizations, and material to strengthen an all volunteer U.S. Army as America's force of decisive action.

IKPT is the technical training provided by NET personnel or system contractor personnel to support the initial transfer of knowledge on the operation and maintenance of new equipment as a means of establishing a training capability within proponent schools.  

GCSS-Army trainers used lecture, simulations, and live system demonstrations to cover the key topics. The session concluded with the trainers formally handing off the Program of Instruction.
