With more than 200 job vacancies, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host a job fair in downtown Sacramento October 28 to share and discuss career opportunities and help prospective applicants navigate the application process.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District released its Finding Of No Significant Impact, or FONSI, today for design refinements to the Isabella Lake Dam Safety Modification Project in Kern County.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District awarded a $3.8 million contract Sept. 30 to JEL Management, LLC, of Plano, Texas, to supply temporary modular trailers for Corps staff during construction of the Isabella Lake Dam Safety Modification Project.

Contract awards come fast and furious as fiscal year 2016 wraps up

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District moved into high gear, awarding 179 contracts worth more than $122 million in September to close out the fiscal year. Overall in FY 2016, the Sacramento District awarded 849 actions worth more than $404 million, including $258.5 million for military construction projects.
