Social Work Services

Quick Reference Guide

  • Mission: Provide clinical treatment and prevention services to victims and offenders of domestic violence. Providers: One Chief, one Social Work Officer, one civilian Social Worker, 3 contract licensed social workers, 1 social work services assistant , one contract Family Therapist.
  • Scope of Practice: Provide evaluations of domestic violence allegations and report to the Post Case Review Committee (CRC) for determination and treatment recommendations. Coordinate with local Commanders to implement treatment services to include individual, marital and family counseling, and group therapy for both victims and offenders. Assess levels of risk in families with behaviors indicative of possible domestic violence. Provide assistance to hospital in-patient services for discharge planning. Provide marital and family therapy to selected Army families.
