2016 Department of Homeland Security Training Exercises

Reserve Forces Training Area, Devens Mass. - Soldiers from the 211th Military Police Battalion, Massachusetts National Guard and the 3rd Military Police Regiment, Canadian Army took part in civil disturbance training here from March 3 through 7. The training was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security.

The 211th MP Battalion has an ongoing partnership with the 3rd MP Regiment. This training is the first time the units have instructed by OHS. The training focused on reacting to civil disturbance scenarios and field-force command during the scenarios. The training included both classroom instruction and practical scenarios in a joint training environment.
