The Fort Irwin EO/EEO offices along with the 2nd Squadron and the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, cordially invites the community to participate in the 2016 National American Indian Heritage Month celebration, which will take place on 16 Nov 2016, from 1130-1300, at the Sandy Basin Community Center. The theme for this year's event is "Serving Our Nation." This event will feature guest speaker Ms. Lupe Lopez and dancers from Red Boy Productions company, along with educational displays. EO Mission (ARMY)

The Equal Opportunity (EO) program and policy formulates, directs, and sustains a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and to ensure fair treatment for all persons based solely on merit, fitness, and capability in support of readiness. Specifically, the goals of the EO program are to provide EO for military personnel and Family members, both on and off post and within the limits of the laws of localities, states, and host nations. Manage, direct, and sustain a comprehensive Human Relations Readiness Program addressing Equal Opportunity, Dispute Resolution, and Sexual Harassment/Assault Prevention in an effort to establish a command climate promoting mutual respect and trust for all members of the command.
