The Natural Resources Branch at NAVFAC HQ continues to sustain mission readiness through its direct support of Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) development and implementation, coordinating Endangered Species Act consultations, supporting Clean Water Act permitting, management of land and near shore sustainment (invasive species control, erosion control, wildland fire, forestry programs, and agricultural outleases) Coral Reef Executive Order responsibilities, and other legal requirements with the operational and training mission needs of the installations and Fleets.  Natural Resources personnel focused on enhancing mission flexibility through continued sustainment of the nation’s natural resources while balancing the demands of operational and training requirements.
