Welcome to the NAVFAC Northwest web site.

NAVFAC Northwest is a complex, multi-mission, echelon four command reporting to Commander, NAVFAC Atlantic, Norfolk, VA.  NAVFAC Northwest has the following subordinate activities: Public Works Department Kitsap, Public Works Department Whidbey Island, and Public Works Department Everett.  The geographic area of responsibility covers 11 states; Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

NAVFAC Northwest's diversified programs support planning, design, contracting, and construction (including the acquisition and disposal of real estate for the Navy) and assist client activities in the application of specialized programs such as energy, environment, and base closures.  Major clients are Commander, Navy Region Northwest (CNRNW), Naval Base Kitsap, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facilities (PSNS& IMF), Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport (NUWC), Naval Magazine Indian Island, the Fuel Depot at Manchester, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island (NASWI), Naval Station Everett (NAVSTA Everett), Naval Radio Station at Jim Creek, Navy Acoustic Research Detachment (ARD) at Bayview, Idaho and Mountain Home AFB near Boise Idaho, as well as all the Navy Reserve facilities in: Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota and Wyoming. Similarly all of the Navy's housing assets in these states are also supported.
