NAVFAC EXWC's Super Containerized Living Unit (SuperCLU)
The SuperCLU was originally designed to support energy and sustainability work at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Modified environmental control units within existing CLUs were a significant part of that effort.
SuperCLUs save thousands in energy usage, increase living space and privacy for individuals, reduce noise and allow more personnel to be comfortably housed in a given unit than current CLU configurations.
