Driving Directions to U.S. Naval Base Guam

From A.B. Won Pat International Airport: Proceed from Customs to the Rental Car counters.  Once you pick-up your rental, turn left onto Guam route 10A.  Follow West / South until it dead ends into Route 1, Marine Corps Drive, at the stop light (approx. 1/2 kilometer from the airport).  Turn left (South) onto Marine Corps Drive (4 lane highway) and proceed approximately 20 kilometers to the main gate of U.S. Naval Base Guam.  The Badge and Pass office (0600 - 2300) is immediately to your right before the entrance.  Go there unless closed.  Your access pass will be issued for the period stated on your orders.

Air Travel: Two U.S. air carriers service the A.B. Won Pat International; Northwest/Delta and Continental airlines.  The former is strictly via Narita (Tokyo) Japan; the latter is either via Narita or Honolulu.  A DOD ID card is sufficient to travel via Honolulu but a valid U.S. passport is advised if you decide to go through Narita.

Airport Shuttle:  Only to the major hotels at Tumon (e.g. Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Guam Reef, Outrigger, Pacific Islands Club (PIC), Nikko, Westin, etc.).  All major hotels have convenience telephones located in the airport arrival area adjacent to Customs.  If you are using government quarters, a Navy Visitors Housing / Quarters greeting desk is immediately to your left as one exits the Customs hall.  Manning is sporadic.  BQ front desk (check-in) may be contacted at (671) 339-5259, 24 hours per day.

Taxi Service: Expensive.  Negotiate rates before you accept a Taxi for transport.
